What is it about the music an artist makes early in their career?
Is it the simplicity, or simply naivete that makes it special? Maybe it's the imperfections combined with nostalgia that makes it feel authentic.

"I Miss The Old Nate" is a compilation of a "young" Nate Barksdale at his most unfiltered and raw. While vocally experimental and loose, Nate's lyrics are to the point. Lines like "Got on my computer downloaded FL Studio crack version not the demo";"Perfection is such a deadly drug"and "Met her at an art show guess i'm just an art hoe" embellish upon the irony of a struggling artist well on his way.

The album animation was done by Nancy Sanchez Tamayo in reference to an original photo by Jules Graham.
